So, I have had my car for a few months and she was not treated very nice, or really the exterior treated at all. I have looked over the car from the outside, inside, underneath, and motor side and well...at 10 feet she looks great!!! However, it looks like the rear bumper and fenders once were repainted, but by someone on a very low budget (very very low).

I have been quoted 10k for a full repaint (yes I know, its all about the prep work).

Does anyone have experience of having a full repaint that would cost maybe a third of this? I have posted about this area before and I honestly think I can hunt and find all the body panels painted from the factory for less than a mid-high cost paint job and then have it all just polished. The issue is, storing all the old parts while waiting to sell them, I do not have that much storage space.

So...anyone know of a quality shop/individual within Utah (prefer north SLC area) that can throw down some paint, fix some minor areas and not cost more than the car?

I was told taking the car apart is where most of the cost is ($4-5k)...ummm...4-6 hrs of labor (I would anticipate an experienced body shop would take at the most) to undo all the hex bolts does not seem like a lot of labor, but I have not done it before.
