Greetings,
Just bought my first Corvette! '02 A4 Convertible in Torch Red.
Got it home and noticed the oil drop on the garage floor next morning.
I've seen the threads on the repair and they cover it pretty well. I am going to perform the axle seal and cover plate R&R next week in the garage.
Can someone post the most current up-to-date list of part numbers to order so I can get started online. There seems to be several revisions at GM for the seals and especially the sealant.
Dealer was going to order $190 worth of parts just for one side and charge $768 in labor.
Holy crap that is a rip off. I'm the Vette tech at a GM dealer and just did a cover re-seal today. Cost the customer $375 out the door. I can get some part numbers for you tomorrow.

Im in SoCal and the dealer thinks everyone is stupid and has money to burn.
Can you also get the torque specs for the cover bolts and the top A arm?
