clutch idle issue
I must apologize i do t have the key betwee b-m shop computer sorry. I have a 2000 c5 well shifting fast it seems like I am power shifting without takeig my foot of the gas. after I slam a few gears this way the clutch slips. it is a ls7 clutch. i believe it isit a clutch issue a d has somethi g to do with the rpms. has u ever see a problem like this?

If I understand, you are thinking that the clutch is not fully disengaging. This would cause it to heat up and apparently start slipping. You may have already fried the clutch, hope not. I would get under the car and measure the gap/clearance for starters. Not at home so I don't have the dimension tolerance with me.
When did this start happening? Give us some history on clutch work including any Master and Slave cylinder work done.

Ok I am finally at a computer with a keyboard that works. I own a transmission shop and pretty good at diag. I think the clutch is fine. I think the problem is the engine throttle does not close quickly. When this happens I think it simulates the effect of power shifting and burns the clutch. If I make a 4th gear pull no slip if i shift hard from 3-4 it will slip at the top of 4th. Has anyone had a problem of maybe intake air pressure holding the electric throttle body open? This is a full bolt on car with a ls6 intake. When I rev it at a stop there are no issues and it has a perfect idle. Thanks for any and all help
