I was able to buy an aftermarket C5 front spoiler used. I had it repainted and ready to install. What hardware do I need? There are about a dozen 5/16" holes in the spoiler, none of which line up with anything on the front of the car. Any ideas? your help is certainly appreciated.

Reason: Added "aftermarket" for clarification
There isn't any detail here about which part you're talking about installing, so its hard to say for certain. My assumption is that you're going to line the spoiler up with the front bumper of the car, mark and drill holes in the bumper, and attach using hardware (bolts/nuts/fender washers, etc) that you'll have to pick up. You could also reach out to whoever you bought it from to get some pointers. You could also contact the manufacturing company to see if you can buy instructions and an install kit.

I bought an Ecklers Front Mini Spoiler from a forum member here. Spence did not send the hardware and shared no installation information. I called Ecklers and explained my situation and that I had just purchased a ground effects package from them so I was a paying customer. I spoke with a lady who was no help. Any advise is appreciated.
Thanks.

This morning I removed the three piece front air dam and have the after market fiber glass front spoiler mocked up in place. I really like the look.
If I use bolts, nuts, fender washers, ect. as you suggest, I do not see accessibility to the inside of the front bumper to tighten the hardware.
Using self-tapping screws does not seem the answer either. Any thoughts?
Wonder how long it will be before it gets banged up or pulled off on a curb? The factory center piece is on a hinge with a spring to fold up. Does this have that capability?

I had similar issues with my front splitter, no instructions or hardware. I mounted with about a dozen nuts and bolts ( stainless) along the perimeters into the the bottom of the fascia. I removed the front fascia to do this. Inside the fascia I used panel bond to adhere metal tabs with the nuts welded in place to the fascia at the mounting points. This worked well splitter is totally stable, can be taken off and on as you like, simply unbolt, and has been on the car 3 years with no issues. If you send me your email address I can send pictures, I tried to post but haven't fiugured it out yet.

You need to put the pics on a public website like photobucket and then just add the links to them, not the actual picture itself.
That spoiler appears to be similar to the ACI that I installed on my car. Looked for the instructions last night, but did not find them. If I recall correctly, I received a flat metal bar that had to be riveted inside the bottom of the fascia on each side. It contained holes for mounting the spoiler. Came with all the necessary hardware for mounting. For a mock up, you can take the outer bolts of the left and right air dam off and install the spoiler using these bolts to secure. You will need to support the middle of the spoiler. There should be a recessed hole in the middle of the spoiler that requires a longer bolt than the rest. If I recall any thing more, I will post the info. Hopes this helps.
Today I got the front spoiler installed. I used the two factory mounting screws and hole locations at the two ends of the spoiler. I used a 3" toggle bolt in the center location. In the other 10 or 12 hole locations in the spoiler I drilled 3/8ths" holes and installed 1/2" factory style plastic push pins or plastic rivets as Dorman Co. calls them. It worked well and looks good.
