01 vert to 02 Z06
How much should I expect to pay when trading in my 01 vert with 10k and all options except adjsutable suspension dampening, up to a 2002 Z06? Has anyone done this? :cheers:

That depends a lot on the dealer. Most of the "leaches" that call themselves car dealers here in PA would probably offer you $40K max for yours. I'd say if you can get anything over $43K or $44K, you've done well. Good luck!

Dealer trade in value for your vert is $36 to $37k, according to Kelly Blue Book. However, a dealer could sell you a 02' ZO6 for $48k and give you $3k more for your trade in. either way you still pay.

Your gonna take a bath selling or trading your 01 ragtop then buying a new 02 Z06. Besides the loss you'll take on your 01, your paying a "new car" premium for the Z06, theres luxery tax, sales tax, dealer fees, and so forth.
Depends on what you want to do.
If its straigt line performance your after, for the loss your gonna take, you could do heads and cam on your 01 and be ahead of the Z06.
