I'm looking to buy some chrome Z06 rims for my WS6. Just wondering where the best places are to purchase them from? I checked out XtremeMotorsports...where are some good, reliable companies that sell high quality Z06 rims. I don't want to get stuck buying from the wrong place. Thanks :)

Re: Z06 Rims (CandaceBell)
I just bought a set of chrome ZO6 rims from Xtreme Motorsports. They look great and come with a 3-year warranty. I bought mine based on testimonials from other forum members. While I haven't had them on but just a couple of weeks, I think they are very high quality. I have heard that Xtreme stands behind the wheels also should you have any problems.
Since your in Beaumont, they are 2 places that sell the Z06 chromes in Houston. Corvettes of Houston and American Tire and Wheel on Hempstead and 610 (ask for Jason).
What about the weight of the repro's compared to the stock Z06 wheels? What about compared to the stock C5 polished wheels? I have the stock polished wheels and would consider the Z06 repro's, but I want to make sure I'm not going to take a hit in the weight department. If possible, I want a lighter, wider wheel....
If you are concerned about quality I would stay away from any of the repros. The majority of them are cheap cast rims made in China. They don't come close to the factory rims.
You have a point...I know Vettes have 17s in the front...but they are 17 x 8.5 where as the F-Bodies are 17 x 9.5 all around. And GM only makes the Z06s for the Vette. So will those numbers cause a problem? If not, I guess I would just order the 4 of the 17 x 8...then again I'm not sure I'd want to give an arm and a leg  ;) to order factory. I know people order aftermarket rims all of the time, so there has got to be some good quality rims out there. :)
Seems that Xtreme gets lots of good reviews and happy customers from what I've heard so far. They also seem to have good prices and quality. So I guess I'm leaning towards them at the moment...anymore praises for Xtreme? ;)
:) I don't now too much about tires, lol Excuse my ingnorance - I'm taking it all in though ;) :D I have 275/40s all around right now - stock. If I change to those numbers you stated, I'll go with: 18x9.5 ?rims? in front and 18X10.5 in back...what about rubbing and stuff like that? I've heard people mention it. Do I have to change anything else to go with 18s around? Thanks!
I've got a Y2K vert with 18's around, don't have any trouble with rubbing. I also have an ATI Supercharger installed that causes my front end to scrape the ground, I put 18's on the front to give me a little more height, also installed A&A's frame savers in case I get too close to the ground. :D
