I am installing a FAST 92/LS2 throttle body combo on a 2000 C5. I can't get the intake back the last 1/2 inch or so to bolt it down. The MAP sensor doesn't appear to be hitting the firewall and the intake doesn't appear to be hitting the cowl unless I'm just not seeing it right. I had originally thought it was the PCV lines so I removed them and still had this problems. I then thought it may be the AIR system, but I checked again and that is not the problem either. Anyone have any ideas?
That's all I can think of. Or one of your rear intake manifold bolts slipped down a bit and it's caught in the #7 or 8 intake runner on the head
Cowl pin is out... My first guess was the bolts... Tried installing with no bolts but it was still the same situation. What is the OPSU? I will trace the brake booster line.
Tried unhooking the brake booster line but it was still hanging up. I also tried unplugging a clip from a sensor that I thought may be hitting the bottom of the intake but it was a no go. Anyone want to buy a Vengance ported FAST? Lol.

Try some white shoe polish on the rear surface of the man. where it gets close to the firewall/cowl. See if it leaves any witness marks. The SP will clean off easily after.
I chose to install short motor mounts ahead of time so as to avoid any potential clearance issues. My LS7 LSXr 102 manifold comes close, but it fits by removing the center push pin.
Look really hard at those coolant lines. I swapped my to 2 front lines for an LS6 and it was hitting on the rear line and the front line. Once I figured that out a 2x4 and some lite hits took care of it.
Good luck
Chris
It's definitely not the coolant lines. I shoe polished the rear runner and there is a mart at the very top but I'm pretty sure that is just from sliding it in. I can shine a flashlight at the cowl and see room between it and the intake.

Oil Pressure Sending Unit. More correctly, EOP sensor (Engine Oil Pressure)
