I own a 2003 anniversary convertible. 2nd owner (I'm not technically inclined). My front end underneath scrapes a lot on nominally uneven roads. If it helps I measured from the top of the tire to the top of the quarter panel (vertical) and there is 1 and 1/2 inch clearance. Is this stock or had it been lowered? Either way the front end need to go up 1-3 inches. How to make that happen?
Appreciated,
DL
I am pretty low. I trimmed the the GM splitter under my vette
a 3/4 of a inch. I did not lose the cooling function but I did have
enough room to miss most of the things I use to drag on.
Good luck.
The scraping noise is worse than any damage being done as the air dam is hinged. We understand the desire for a quieter front end,
but reversing the lowering process may be your only solution.
