Default Seat belt light fix

I have been dealing with my idiot light for my seat belt for a few months, of course having the Torch Red interior it is hard to find a replacement receiver, so today I removed the seat and the the receiver looking for split /cracked wires etc. nothing so I decided to get my heat gun and heat the seam and very carefully star to pry the cover off

Once I got it apart I did find 12 years of dirt and dust but also found a micro switch that had junk under and around the little switch. I used electrical cleaner on it an a tiny screwdriver to remove the dust/dirt.

These pictures are before I cleaned the switch!!
I worked the button and noticed that the arm on the switch needed slight adjustment worked it again till I was happy and before reattaching it to the seat, I hooked up the connector and laid the seat belt assembly across the seat and put it back in the car, hooked up the power and turned the car to acc. of course the light was on until I put the seat belt in. Good as new, NO LIGHT!! Turned the car off and removed the power, took the seat back out and then carefully put the bottom cap back into position, some super glue (locktite) to the sides and the put the top on holding it together with spring clamps for 5 min. reassembled. No more light! Hope this helps some of you with the same problem. I have searched and sprayed electrical cleaner a few times, worked at first but I think it just blew dirt into the micro switch. GOOD LUCK and take your time. The pry marks are on the front facing side of the receiver which points down when it's in the car, be careful thats where the micro switch is located!
