Trans temps
I had a trans cooler installed. I went to a roadrace course and by the end of the day the trans temps hit 273!!! (with the cooler installed). For those who have done this, is this out of line or can I expect this?

The alarm is set to go off at 266, that is way to high! Your cooler seems not to be working. I hope you connected it in series with the factory cooler.

Mine got to 250 on a 90 degree day, flogging the car as hard as possible at Mid Ohio for 30 minutes. So your cooler may not be working as well as it should. On the other hand, the higher stall converter will tend to raise temps. So will more frequent shifting, most road courses you never need 4th, just 2 and 3.
