Default Corsa vs magnaflow

I'm a newbie to this site. Have a C5 with a 6 speed and am looking at a cat-back exhaust system. Don't want it too loud and with minimal drone at highway speeds. Thinking either Magnaflow or Corsa.
Can someone please share their experiences and advice?
Thanks

Sorry, couldn't resist as this topic has been discussed so many times on the CF.

One thing is for certain, exhaust sound is purely subjective. I have Corsa Extremes with X-Pipe on my 02 Z06. It's lot's louder than stock, but seems fairly mild to my ears. That said, my 19 year old son told me he can't imagine the car being any louder The Corsa's are appear to be quality built and do not drone on the highway. Hit the go pedal and they do bark pretty nicely.

I was asking about this not too long ago. People say the Magnaflows make the car sound like a mustang and they tend to drone. The corsas are probably better, but they are very pricey..

Unless you get the resonated straight pipes, the Magnaflows are way too quiet for my taste. I had the Magnaflow 16732's and ended up selling those to get the Corsa Extremes. I am fully satisfied with the Corsas. Best exhaust sound you can get, IMHO.

I've got the magnaflow 15713 (2 pipes out of the cans) and I do experience drone around 1500 rpms....

They are a little quite, but pretty good at WOT....

I also have xtremes and they do a good job of keeping the noise reasonable inside the car but behind the car it can be really loud depending on the rest of the setup so you can easily be deceived on how loud it really is... I ran a buddy of mine in his c6z and he hit the rev limiter a few times because he couldn't hear his own car

I've had both systems, and the Magnaflow has a deeper, more pleasant tone, but they have the unfortunate tendency to drone. (actually a resonance) They're also very quiet, even with mods. Corsa Pace Car editions have zero drone, even with mods, and are only very loud when you step on the noise pedal.

Corsa is the way to go, My engine is stock other than corsa extreme and xpipe. It is louder than stock but not obnoxious by any means. It has absolutely no drone whatsoever. You can not go wrong with the Corsa system check out their website and you tube comparison to stock videos. I have never seen or heard of anyone with a corsa system that wasn't more than happy with it.
