02 zo6 406 na twin disk clutch aluminum light weight flywheel rpm level5 trans and rear diff . The noise is coming from the back of the engine but underneath the car . The noise is a rattling /loose sounding type noise ? Are there torque tube issues ? Driveshaft? The noise is louder while driving in gear under load ?. I am mechanic so feel free to ask something , I have never had a c5 vette apart before though ?

i have something similar i just did an engine swap though
Any ideas ? I am guessing issues with my clutch or more than likely torque tube issues .
I'm on the CF mobile app so bear with me. Before considering big ticket items, look at some of the smaller issues. Take a peek at clearences and make sure nothing is banging around(headers, exhaust, etc). Check for missing isolators or hangers haven't come lose or are missing. Also if you have an aftermarket exhaust, check the bands (if not welded). Finally check the condition of bushings and end-links conditions for sway bars.

Why TT? Did it make a noise before? If not, I doubt you did something to cause a rattle in the TT.
Does the noise change when the clutch is engaged vs. not engaged? Same for in gear or out of gear? Car moving vs stationary?
I get a slight rattle on the new clutch when the clutch pedal is pushed in, car at idle and stationary. It goes away when the clutch is engaged. Once the clutch is broken in, I hear it goes away.
Just repeating what I gathered when clutch shopping, you probably know all this. Noise on acceleration and deceleration is in the drive line, (t tube?) just noise on take off, probably the clutch.
It was explained to me the pilot bearings have a hard life in these cars. With a lot of abuse , they fail. Some go with an impregnated bushing, which lasts under abuse but must be replaced much more often.
I never had a car where the pilot bearings even entered the conversation, so thought it worth mentioning.
mine was tt dragging metal sound when I got on it only, now after launching the car hard it was all the time, just pulled tt this weekend and you can hear it spinning by hand metal on metal sound and a thump thump lol,
