Tire pressure sensors
I will be putting chrome wheels on my car soon. Want to make sure it's done right. The sensors have a rubber base at the bottom of the valve stem, making it look as if that would be the only seal needed. Does the rubber grommet go over the valve stem before installing the sensor so It sits between the sensor and the rim?

you're correct on where the o rings go.
i would make one suggestion.
don't use the old o rings. replace them when you remount the sensors on your new chrome wheels.

Thanks, the wheels came with new o-rings. After hearing that some had problems fitting their sensors to chrome wheels I borrowed a sensor. It fit with or without the ring so I wanted to be sure.
