Has anybody used Dorman's Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors. I think I'm starting to need to replace mine. Thanks for any feedback.

Dorman makes good products but never bought any TPM sensors from them.

A smart thing to do for any replacement sensors is to pre program them to your car before you have them installed so you know they all work. Just identify where each one goes before you actually install them. If you or the installer screw up the location you can still reprogram them but at least you know they worked before the install.

FYI, learning them to each corner does not guarantee they will work when they are installed. It only confirms a communication link from the sensor to the receiver. The actual function can only be tested after installation and the wake up cycle is completed . Personally , I would go with OEM.

For awhile they were not available. Dorman makes a good product. I'd give them a try.

I have two sitting on my table that I haven't installed yet. The only thing I worry about is when I bought my new wheels the rear tpms wouldn't fit. I hope these will seat into the wheel without leaking.
