I have a car that I just replaced my A4 in. Set up is LSX 440 with 400 shot when drag racing. I just replaced the transmission and while it was out also replaced leaking seals in rear engine cover. Other than tranny problems the engine ran fine with no codes before my recent work done on it. Completed all work and now it starts momentarily then dies and reduced engine power message comes on. I have speed density tune so no MAF. TB looks fine all connections look good. Any ideas on this one?
I would check the wiring.
I imagine you had to tilt the engine to get the trans out and you might have damaged some wiring.
Gnd sat the back of the drivers side head, ground on the block by the starter especially. The TAC module grounds are in that area.

Thanks Ron. I'm thinking (grounds) also. My kooks 2 inch headers make it tough to see that starter area but if needed I'll drop them again a little to check that ground.
If you have no MAF, it would appear that you would need to disable this in the PCM..

I will check that also as my grounds were good. Thanks.....only issue is my tuner must have done that already as I have had a speed density tune for some now with no issues....
