Default 98 corvette 5.7l auto mod help

Ok so I'm brand new here and first time corvette owner!

I recently purchased a 1998 automatic corvette 5.7l from delchevrolet in exton PA

After purchase I realized the car had been modified , I've noticed it had corsa mufflers and a dual aftermarket intake.

Now time for my question,

I would like to slowly add to this car, my ultimate goal is nothing too outrageous, but I would like to see this car run into the 11's

What should be my route of modifying to get to my goal?

I also have a 98 and the car is great. You have to decide a few things , how long keeping car and how much to spend . I have wasted so much money replacing things that just didn't do it ,over and over . Like chrome rims , then replaced with top quality ccw, cheap suspension parts replaced with z06 parts, and then just the a & a supercharger kit, best mod ever , and then just slowly mod from there , headers , bullets , and a few lighting pieces . Keeping the car so always adding performance. Car is fast ,real fast .enjoy

Thanks for responding!

I plan to keep the car for a long time,

I don't want to do any internal engine work however.

I basically want to get in the 11's without building a insane drag car, cheapest smartest safest way possible

How much of a gain did you get from the supercharger?

The car is at 550hp, so much fun . The look people give you is priceless when this 16 year old car is just flying away , have fun and like any other hobby just keep adding to the addiction .

Been where you're at and done that. I bought a bone stock 99 auto and have been drag racing as I did modifications over time. I have a mid 11's car currently. To get there I have the following bigger modifications:

3.42 diff gears, 3200 stall converter (good street/strip converter) 430whp off a heads, cam, intake, and long tube header build. Along with all the supporting items. And last but most important. Drag tires.

Have fun!
