C5 Radio switch

I just bought a 2004 it has a kenwood pop up dvd, blocks the a/c vent has any one switched the climate control and the radio?

If you swap the radio and the HVAC controller, wont the HVAC controller be blocked with the screen up? I think there is a kit or replacement radio/console panel that moves the hvac controller lower to where the ash tray is, maybe the radio can be moved lower as well.
