Default Catback R&R question

Can the OEM catback mufflers be removed in one piece easily. I want to remove the system from the car to do the muffler mod off the car without disturbing the alignment of the pipe going into the muffler. Obviously that won't be an issue when the pipes are welded together with the mod.

Will I have to raise the rear end of the car really high to get the system out and back in? I don't have access to a lift, just jack stands in the garage.

It's not bad to do with the right jack.

I'm not so sure about your suggestion. The jack stands look a little flimsy.

Is it possible to get a full, all around weld, on the bypass tube while the muffler is installed? Especially on the top area?

Front wheels are chocked. You jack up enough to get under car to unbolt over axle pipes. Then jack the car up fully as you won't be back under it. Slide exhaust out, slide new in lower car to safer level get under and bolt up. The car isn't going anywhere on jackstands.
