I wonder about relocating the EBTCM... just to ease install and removal. I have had my trans/rear/tt out 3 times now(less than most of you guys probably) and that EBTCM is annoying. I am about to do the TR6060 swap and thought about this.
Also if the rear end cooling was there would it even work having the rear end cooling and the EBTCM? ughh... sounds like fun...

Is the TR6060 that much better than the T56 trans? What is better about it? Is it a strength thing? Do they make that wonderful rattling noise when easing off the line in 1st gear the way the T56 does?

YES! The synchronizer design is better and the gears are 30% + bigger. The rattle you hear is from the clutch and NOT the transmission.
