I am trying to compile an inventory of connectors with FSM pictures, pin outs, and all the other FSM circuit information. C304 shows up in the RFA harness but I can not find that connector anywhere in the FSM. I would assume it serves at least one other component. Looked for it in numerous FSM Sections including Wiring where I would have expected it to be but no luck.
I would appreciate any information or scan of this. Also, if you have a scan or picture from the FSM I would like to also know what year it is from.
Thanks, but no, C304 is between the RFA and the passenger foot well. For the RFA it carries power, ground, and serial bus. In earlier C5s there was an extra power wire.

I don't have my FSM dug out right now, but I know how confusing/frustrating all the electrical system schematic locations in the manual can be. Just finding the appropriate section is a PITA many times. They have the electrical circuitry information broken into so many different areas of the FSM.

I wonder if it's one of those year-model dependent things. I've looked for it in my '99 FSM w/o luck. The picture I posted obviously references an '01.
Being a "300 series" connector number, it's going to be inside the passenger compartment somewhere obviously.
Thanks guys. Will check my PMs when I get home. The above info from LonestarFRC would seem to indicate it is solely related to the RFA. I bet the 4th pin is not used for the later C5's as I said I know the earlier ones had an extra power feed for some reason I could not figure out.
I want to have a ready reference for everyone so I can post connector information more quickly. My new FSM from 3 years ago is falling apart from all the scans I have made for posts which is fine with me. No point in having a tool you don't use.

I hear ya on the ratty FSM. Mine is about to become a "Scotch Tape Special".
Btw, I think there may be something to the "year specific" thing I mentioned. For example, we all know there are two different systems, i.e. 1997 - 2000 and 2001 - 2004. Not only are there different frequencies involved between the two, but the actual design of the RFA receiver is different as well, with the early models having the two, long plastic antennas (with the anti-rattle foam on each tip) and the newer version has a short, stubby, metal antenna, etc. Also, the connector on the RFA receiver is different, even though the wires perform the exact same function.
In light of the various differences, it wouldn't surprise me if the wiring harnesses, etc., leading to the IPC are different as well. Maybe a change in the routing of the wiring dictated some changes. Not sure.
