i have a sc on my car and a gauge connected to the 02 sensor but my question is when i push to full throttle is pointing at the middle of stoich can i run my car on that????
or just on rich????
You really need to put your car on a dyno that has wideband O2 capability and get a true reading of what the AF ratio is at WOT. Betting your motor on an Autometer AF gauge is not a good idea. FYI, FWIW I have the Autometer Carbon Series AF gauge, I am running the 7 PSI pulley, and when I go to WOT, the lights go to near or full rich (near the last or the last green). If you don't have access to a wideband O2 dyno, at least AutoTap the car and monitor the O2 voltage readings at WOT (0.88 - 0.89 volts).
the problem is that here in mexico on my city there ir no a dyno :(
someone told me that i need at least 91 octanes, and im using gas from here and the NOS octane booster,is that enough to work well???
the gas here is too poor !!i think its on 87 octs
Those octane boosters are hard on your motor and emmisions systems. If your going to run 1 the one you want is Turbo 108 it claims 7 Oct. Pts. but is good for a full 4-4.25 per 20 gallon tank 2/3 of a bottle tops per tank.We carry it as a local item along with 109 race Gas but if you contact Shawn at LAPD and tell him I sent you he will cut you a good deal, stuffs not cheap but works better and cheaper than Amsoil which is made for a 12 gal. tank.
If ever you come down to AZ. we would be happy to adjust your fuel trims on our wide band 02 Dynojet and state of the art software,
Come visit AZ. we actually have good Mexican food and tons of nice people.
Good Luck Dave S.
