Anyone have info on what looks like a left trans axel seal leak ?? It's an 01 auto, with 11,000 on the clock. Never been raced. It has been lowered by the common bushing cutting, as posted here ??????
I have been getting those quarter sized spots of green diff fluid with my new 2002. Its been dripping the whole time (5 weeks) since I bought it. I thought it was just over fill in the diff, but its not stopping. :mad
I guess I have to go see the infamous "DEALER" :reddevil It seems like a hard repair to get right, so I might be better off letting it waste the the diff and get a new one under waranty :p: just kidding. It just pisses me off to have a problem in the 1st 1000 miles. My 98 Camaro spoiled me I guess, it never had a problem with anything. I hope this is all and I didn't get a lemon.
Hey, It's really no big deal...I had my dealer repair it 3 times in 2 months.
Maybe next time, they get it right....Or not, maybe I can qualify for
a buy back.
I'm also on my third alternator...Rattles like I'm dragging 10 feet of chain.
At least they say it's the alternator. Next time will be my fourth visit
on both items. According to NJ Lemon Law, I now qualify. :smash:
I had that on mine at around the same mileage. I hadn't raced my car either. It took three trips and two dealers to find someone who would fix it, and they did. She's now dry as a bone.
