VERARAM....
I use the Ripper on my TT C5R which I cant afford to miss a gear and go to 2nd when Im targeting 4th I have 80k+ in my motor and I'm very choosey.and the Volants 169.00.If your sold on the Veraram perhaps I may be able to get them cheaper maybe there in stock but I worked there all last week 60+ hours and all that ever comes up is alot of work and the potential for hydrolock and warranty being voided.
Give me a call if I can help I would be honored Dave S. XTREME M.S.480-517-4969.

Retail is $549, discounted to $494 with free shipping. That is our current offer. As for looks, you can buy an air bridge AND another intake for the same money with lower results, though it will look cooler. We offer the Vortex cold air kit and the BPP bridges if interested.
As for the VaraRam, It Works, as you've seen. Othere competitiors will try and scare you with hydrolock talk. Call me so we can discuss it and I'll give you the straight scoop.:), in plain english.:) There is no need for them to try and derail the intake. It works.:)
You will NOT get 20 RWHP from a Blackwing on a 02 Coupe. Ask a vendor to send you some dyno sheets on that set up, with those gains, and see what they come back with. The Blackwing is a good alternative non-cold air box, but doesn't have the performnce gain of the VaraRam or other cold air kits like the Vortex.
Haven't seen or heard of anyone who has hydrolocked on the VaraRam, and you won't if you are a prudent driver steering clear of gaping puddles. Those 60 hours must have been in dreamland. Stock boxes have hydrolocked as well. Can't swim with the Vette.:)
The VaraRam IS THE BEST PERFORMING INTAKE OUT THERE, IMHO.:):) Not the easiest install but well worth it.
Search some threads on the V/R by customers/members who have them on this board and you'll see the positives.
On the shifter, we carry the Ripper, the Hurst and the Kirban. I can give you the skinny on them too.:)
