Passenger Lock Solenoid?
I've determined that the reason why the power lock on the passenger side doesn't lock (bu unlocks) is a weak solenoid...but looking in the door cavity, I can't tell if the solenoid itself comes off, of if you have to swap out the whole latch sub-assembly. :mad
Has anybody done this yet? Was it tough getting everything adjusted afterwards?

Here's just a thought. I have a driver door that does the same thing. I think there is only one door lock solinoid. If a positive voltage is applied to one wire and a negative voltage to the other wire, the solidoid will kick uo and unlock the door. If the voltages are applied in the opposit polarity, the solonoid will kick down and lock the door. If the solonoid was bad, it wouldn't lock or unlock the door. The door control module is what sends the two polarity voltages to the solonoid and most likely is not sending enough voltage to lock the door, but is sending enough voltage in the other polarity to unlock the door. I would be checking into the module.

Thanks. I've got the test procedure from another member and will be looking at it asap. Any clude what a RDCM costs out of warrantee. :(
