help with headlight issue

Default help with headlight issue

drive headlight goes up and down fine...just when the headlight closes the motor keeps running ...and the gear is not moving...when the motor stops headlight is ready to work again..does this make sense to anyone ? headlight goes up and down fine just motor doesnt stop when it is supposed to .

Sounds like your plastic gears are stripped, time to change to brass gears, lots of info here on how to do it

The control module senses increased motor current at each end of travel to shut off the motors. There are no limit switches.

I agree based on what you described you have gear problems.

I don't have a link on that but there are many out there. If no one chimes in and you need help let us know and I will get you guidance.

Some people replace with brass gears. I did something similar for the windows in the doors of my Pantera.
