COR-HAR Information Needed for Bluetooth Mod
I first wanted to thank everyone for all of your help, I have been using this forum for a while without contributing. Now with a little help, I would like to make a post about how to easily, and cheaply, install Bluetooth into a C5 with a factory stereo. And I also apologize if the answer to my question is already in another post, but I've been searching for two days and haven't found it.
So, I messed up and ordered a kit for people with the CD changer, my misunderstanding. All I need to know is how the COR-HAR is wired so I can wire this thing up. I found the two connectors under the passenger floor board, however, the adapter that I have is supposed to plug into the plug for the CD changer. So I need to know where the 7 wires from the two connectors are pinned on the other end of the COR-HAR?
PLEASE HELP!
The adapter I have is the PXHGM2.
Thank you,

hopefully the pin locations in the picture can be used to match up on the COR-HAR.
Thanks again
Want to listen to music from your phone while you drive but don't want a new head unit? If you do not have a CD changer, no problem, just follow these steps:
1) Decide what you want to purchase to make the bluetooth system work. I bought the ISimple PXDX, PXHGM2 adapter, and MIL-BTREC. Costed about $100. If you find something else that connects to the CD changer harness, just use the image to help decide how to connect your application.
2) Locate the oval 3-pin and the square 4 pin connectors under your passenger's floor board (I found them using another post from this forum).
3) The picture is the PXHGM2 which the COR-HAR plugs into. The 3 wire connector is goes to the 3 wires on the right, and the 4 wire goes to the side with the 4 wires (big shock).
Connect wires from floor board to the PXHGM2 as follows (soldering is recommended but not required):
3 Wire vehicle to PXHGM2:
Green to Black
Black/White to Brown
Orange to Blue
4 wire vehicle to PXHGM2:
Brown/White to Red
Green/White to White
Black/White to Orange
Bare wire to Black
(when you cut the connector off you may want to put tape or a zip tie to bundle the 3 wires and the 4 wires separate since there is similar wire colors)
4) There are directions with the PXDX telling you which switches need to be switched. Do that...
5) Now you are almost done, you just need to find power and ground for the MIL-BTREC. I cheated and used the amp on the sub in my trunk. You should be able to hide your setup behind the ECU, so choose a good ground and something that is only on when the ignition is on (I've read that there is an accessories pwr under there, but I did not look into since my plan changed, not sure if its always hot or not).
6) Once you finish that part, test it... The password is 0000. Mine worked flawlessly, just pressed aux and connected to the MIL on my phone, and had music from my phone playing in my Vette!
7) So now just hide all of your work and put everything back together, you're done and don't have to use CD's anymore!!
I hope this helps someone, and I also hope this made sense! Enjoy your streaming music, I know I am going to!
