AC Cuts out then Restarts
I just had my AC rebuilt. I took the car on its first trip since yesterday. After a half hour the air conditioning stopped blowing cold air. It was in Auto mode and the AC light remained on. After about an other half hour; after God knows how much fidling with the controls including turning it off and back on, it spontaneously started pumping cold air. It did so for the balance of the trip, another half hour. On the drive back exactly the same scenario took place. Ice cold first 30 min, no cold second 30 minutes, ice cold last 30 minutes. Only difference was that it stopped working in manual mode
I have not yet pulled the codes. I do know the driver's side actuator is lazy but when it shut down it was a total lack of cold air. Any ideas as to what is going on?
Please don't suggest a longer drive! LOL
