Basically. Just be sure to look for part number 12570790 OR if buying a Delco unit, use 217-1617. Silver blade. Beware false or misleading ads. Look for the specific part number.
Also use the Racetronix adapter harness, not Casper's. Better harness and same, or even slightly less price.

Yes. Even thought that's being sold under the ACD part number, there will still be a GM part number cast into underside. You also see it referenced in the ad down lower on the screen. Get a Racetronix adapter harness and you're good. Plug-n-play.
This is intersting as i need a TB as well. I already know LS2 but my concern is price. Im a little confused too. So is that $300 for a NEW and out the door hand ported and polished TB? Or is that the price of sending one in and back?

I had an issue using this specific Casper adapter harness and will NOT use them again. Any company too cheap to close off the two unused cavity holes in the connector body, which caused me the issues that it did, will not get my business again.
Take a close look at the flat connector body end-view at the top of their picture and tell me what you see. The two cavity positions (second and third from the left) that look kind of "yellowish"? That's daylight showing through, allowing moisture, water, dust, debris, etc, thereby promoting corrosion INSIDE the connector, because they're too cheap to close of those two holes with the correct plugs made for that purpose. What would it cost them/ Maybe .0001 cent each?
I have had nothing but positive experiences with Racetronix harnesses, hardware, etc and they also usually undersell Casper's by a few bucks in most cases. They continue to make high quality products at their manufacturing facility in Canada, and I will continue to recommend them every time.
