Had to replace my wheels with the tire pressure sensors to a set without them, temporally until I can get the sensors moved into the new wheels. Is there a way not to keep getting the flat tire warnings?
Or am I stuck manually resetting it all the time. It also tells me there is a 55mph limit, yet I can still drive faster than that, so I think it's just a warning because it thinks I have flat tires.
I'm sure you meant TPMS, what year car do you have? 01 up can be programmed out, older cannot. If it's only going to be a short time, you're better served to reset it each time you start the car.
I installed tire pressure sensors in chrome wheels and paid a dealership turn the system on years ago. Now I'm back to the original Speedline wheels. So I guess I'm stuck with resetting the constant DIC warnings until I can get sensors in these wheels. I just thought there might have been an easy off for the system without having to pay someone to use a Tech 2 tool.
