Default Lowering question.

You guys keep talking about lowering your cars and it does make the car look better by filling in the wells. What are the steps in lowering the car and can it be done by a person that has some mechanical ability. Also what do I need to do the job? I would like to lower mine about an inch or so. :seeya

do asearch and you will find a lot of info and detailed instructions. short version: loosen the rear spring bolts till only 2 or 3 threads are left. the front is the oppisite-tighten the bolts till the bushings touch. this will give between 1/2 and 1" lowering and is about as far as you want to go for regular street use(get A&A mods). not much change in ride at this level either. the bolts in question are at the ends of the springs, outboard at the wheels. good luck! :D
