Default heads up display

The heads up display on my 04 is not bright enough. It is difficult to see at times in the day light. Is this normal? The display in the C-6 and C-7 is much brighter. If it is not normal, how do I fix it?

In bright sunlight I have a hard time seeing mine on my 04 also. Wearing polarized sunglasses can't see it at all. Love the feature but very dim in sunlight.

Did you move the display slider all the way up?

I have mine turned completely down, never use it. I forget it is there even when it is visible.
