I thought my seat was squeaking as well. Turns out it was the lower seat belt mechanism. I have yet to go in there and spray the belt spool with some lubricant, but hopefully that will cure the problem.
Hey biz - is that fellow WCOMer errrr Survivor ??? I'll check the seat belt mechanism, it just started and I can't ever seem to pin point it...I haven't checked the seat belt yet!
Dude, me too. I especially notice it when I am backing out of the driveway and leaning back, looking around......squeeks like a mouse in a wheel..
It seems worse when i first hop in the car - after i'm in for a couple minutes, my brain either ignores it or it stops.
Think i'm gonna take mine out and check the bolts though - someone else posted on this, where he took it out and had his g/f help him check. I think that was for a rocking problem, but can't hurt to check!
This squeaking drivers seat has been bugging me also. I can't seem to pin point where it is exactly but it is around the area of the seat retractor. I will get the WD-40 out and give it a squirt!
