Default C5 option plate

I recently purchased my 98 C5. I would like to know what factory options were installed. I understand that the option plate was originally installed inside the glove box, but I can find no trace of it. Is there any way to back-track using the VIN?

On the 98, it's glued to the underside of the driver's side rear storage compartment lid.

Thank you! EVERY thing I read said it was inside the glove box.

That's probably because the vast majority of C5s have it in there and most people tend to post up THEIR location (or information) as somehow being representative of ALL C5s.

Only the first 2 years were located on the rear compartment lid.
