Hey guys, I got te 'Service Tire Monitoring System' warning on the DIC today. I pulled the codes and found trouble codes for 3 of the TPMS sensors (C2100HC, C2110HC, and C2215HC). I reset the codes and went for a quick drive. The sensors seem to be responding now and working as normal. Does this mean the sensors are on their way out? I am going to the Texas Mile in a few weeks and the last thing I need is Traction Control/ Active Handling issues.

Thanks!
Codes you pulled are History Codes....may have had an issue in the past.
Keep an eye on it and see if they come up again...What year is your C5 ? Could be the batteries are going in the TPMS.

It's a 99 FRC. It has CCW wheels circa 2005 but it's very likely the sensors are original. If the sensor batteries go while I'm at the standing mile event, will it put me in limp mode or hurt the car's performance? I really don't want to dismount my race tires to replace them if not required.

Shouldn't hurt a thing, at least not to my knowledge...other then the annoying message that ur tires are low on pressure...
I have never come across a "Limp Mode" because of low tire pressure and I had a bad sensor in the rear left tire when I purchased my car. Drove it until i was ready for new tires. Replaced all of the Sensors then.
