Sounds a bit like "we currently can get ARH but still want you to buy from us" honestly. If the price is similar, and you don't mind the different brand, I would still go for it.

Not that kind of company, and they are not affiliated with either brand.
Thy can order either headers for the same price and arrive at the same time.
Shop is honestly saying they have had bad luck with ARH.
The Steel Works are more money, typically, but the shop is offered to
price match the ARH's.
He told me I am free to order them directly from the companies to get free shipping if I want. I'm sure they don't get a kick back.
I'm also sure the last few he got from AHR had issues.
It just means none of the forum members have heard about them yet.
Last year they loved AHR. Something changed.
I second that!! There was never a time when a problem arose that we didn't jump on it and make it right in a big hurry. As owner of ARH I've made a point to work with any customer that may have had an issue regardless of whether they are an individual buyer or a long time dealer of our products. I'll also be the first to admit that things can and have gone wrong but thankfully those circumstances are rare in comparison to how many headers systems ship we ship daily. We simply ask that our customers make us aware of the problem and we'll handle the rest.
I am not sure what shop had this issue but I'd love to speak to them to get the scoop and assure them that whatever the problem was, we will make things right.
