Knock Sensor Problem
Took the car on an errand tonight and right after I started out felt the car sputter several times on acceleration then it stopped. Several seconds later the Check Engine light came on. After running my errand I came back to the house and read the error codes. There were 3 in the PCM; a P0327H, a P1571H and P1626H. The only one that will turn on the light is the P0327H which is for the front knock sensor reading too low or too high of a knock frequency. The other codes probably have been in history for a while since they do not seem related to the knock sensor. One is for the ASR desired torque signal and the other is for the antitheft system. Guess I will have to run it into the shop tomorrow. I am going to the track on the 19th and 20th and do not want anything holding the car back.

Similar problem here. Not so much the codes registering but definitely a ping with a hard acceleration. I went out on the corvetteaction.com web site and spotted a TSB that identified the problem. Took it into the shop last week and they scanned and ordered two replacement spark detonation sensors. Of course dealership doesn't carry any parts do it is on back order. Check out this site. The heads up is worth gold. I have them replacing my front driver seat adjuster as well (see site) this would have set me back over $750.00 bucks if the car was out of warranty. :mad
