please help? a/c works when wants too?
i have a 99, and sent the a/c off to have less installed, which look great, and has been working for 2 years (rarely used) fine. then the other day, i was driving and noticed it didn't come on, but the lights did when the headlights where put on..... but the lcd screen was still blank.
i just thought it went out and then all of a sudden it popped on, the screen lit up , and blew cold and hard as ever, and all functions worked fine.
then upon cutting car0 off, and then getting in and driving again, it did the same thing and still does..... it starts off blank, and whenever it feels like it, will come on, and does not go off or black out until vehicle is turned off and the back on again?
anyone know , or could it indeed be the a/c unit has a gremlin inside?

thanks, for the response, I have unconnected the battery to see if was power or memory related but it does the same thing, do you think the connecter might me wiggling and possible loose? sounds logical.....
