Default help clutch issue...

I have an 02 Z06 with a clutch issue.... If I run the car hard the clutch sticks down and feels like it pulses. I then have to put my foot under the pedal and lift it up. NOTE: it only does this when its warm and running hard. cold it wont nor if i drive normal.. it also pulses when its warm and i press in the clutch and rev it up high a few times. Could this be just that i newed to change the fluid? its an 02 and everything is stock. thanks

Changing the fluid and checking the shifter adjustment are the cheapest and easiest things to start with. The slave cylinder on 97-03 cars is a poor design that was improved for the 2004 model, so if the first two steps don't work it may be time for a new clutch and slave cylinder.

I suggest reading Ranger's method. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...al-issues.html

Heat is detrimental to the clutch fluid, so frequent dilution or replacement is often needed. I personally have installed a remote clutch bleeder from Tick Performance to aid in the process. The remove bleeder also makes it a cleaner process. Frequent changes of the clutch fluid should help.
