General tuning question
Yes i got it cheap compared to what they do ask for these down here. Half price to be correct. Owner had already left the contry and his wife sold it as she also went abroad to his contry.
No i do not do this for a living any more. I bought the car because i always wanted a Corvette and it was so cheap i cant loose money... So ill enjoy it until the day i sell it. Meanwhile i want to do some things to the car to make me enjoy it more... Heck if i realy enjoy it i might even keep it!
In the city i live there are already some sportscars. They regularly hold car shows here and there are some realy nice cars shown. So some ppl have money and now there is one Corvette in town. If i sell it and break even i had fun meantime. THATS all that matters to me. No need for big profits. I just want the V8 to come alive and drive it 😊
Make sure you start your diagnostic process by these first two steps, If not you can just be spinning your wheels (wasting your time and money)(1) As mentioned earlier, New quality battery (Optima)
(2) 'INSPECT' and 'CLEAN, ALL' your Ground connections on a C5. There are numerous locations for grounds on chassis (6-8) I believe, check forum Tech for exact number. A lot of electrical issues stem from this one issue alone.
Research and Good Luck, that's what's nice about this forum, you get real life answers and sometimes a polk in the eye for humor!!

Yes there are already a new battery in it. The grounds, 10 in total i think i read here, will be gone trough. The good thing here in Philippines is cheap labour. At Mitsubishi they charge me 300p houer. Thats 0.67$ an houer!! Thats also on the high end. So if u find a good mechanik its cheap to get certain tidius labor done cheap. There are a nice modern shop not to far from me...
Apresiate your tip!
