Default Lowered using Coilovers...was it worth it?

If you have lowered your Vette using the adjustable coil over/leaf spring elimination approach, what has been your driving experience since this doing this Mod?

Wallet shock notwithstanding, this has been considered the ultimate way of getting back the handling often lost in lowering these cars using the common bolt turning method…are you satisfied with your results?

Thanks

Bob

Bob,
I have on my 2000 FRC LG Motorsports coil overs and sway bars. The handles very flat around corners, very responsive with no noticeable lean. If interested, contact Anthony at LG Motorsports, he will set you up with the right package. You will need to remove the existing composite leaf spring, all which can be done by the DIY at home. I would suggest that once you have the coils and sways installed you have the car balanced, (see if you have a friend with four scales) then get a good alignment. You will need to be careful in driving over speed bumps, etc., due to the car lower ground clearance. It is probably one of the most expensive changes you can do to your suspension. In my opinion it drives like a different car.
Enjoy,
