Exhausting question
Not to beat a dead horse,but my question is that my 02 has the 4 cats.
I've been reading about how guys do X pipes with there cat back systems etc.
Mine looks like the entire system has been welded together.
Up to the cat back section that is. What do they do cut the H part out and add the X pipe? :confused:
Do you have to buy the off road pipe when you do the X pipe?

If you're just doing the x-pipe, all you need to do is cut out the h-pipe section and unbolt it from the over-the-axle pipe flanges. Remember, measure thrice, cut once. :yesnod:
I initially replaced the exhaust, from the h-pipe back, with an x-pipe and catback from Magnaflow. When I installed headers the rest of the exhaust went in favor of FLP's with hi-flow cats. :smash:
