Which tires are better for treadlife and sound into the cabin of the car?
What is a runflat?
Thanks,
A Run flat (sometime called an EMT - extended mobility tire) will allow you to still drive the car with 0 tire pressuue due to its strengthen side wall contruction. The Goodyear EMT that comes with the C5 will allow you to drive at 55 mph for up to 50 miles on a deflated tire without damaging the tire beyond repair. It will probably hold up for faster speeds & longer distances, but not be repairable.
As to which is best...I would check the archives for Forum discuss on the topic and go to the Tire Rack supporting vendor web site for some tables that compare the various manufacturers.
