Default Bucking while cruising and percieved rev-happy behavior

Hey guys. I have a problem with my 2002 C5 Z06

Relevant mods:
Cam
3.90 rear
headers
intake
mcleod rxt and steel flywheel

The car while driving at a constant speed will buck between road force and engine force. I can feel the shifter clank a bit, like part of the engagement of the driveline is loose. I don't know how to explain it in words exactly, and the car is currently apart in my garage and I can't take a video. It seems to sound like the bucking you would expect at low rpms in first in a parking lot from a cammed car, but this happens at all cruising speeds. It's most noticeable when going up hill and only a slight amount of throttle is applied to that threshold between acceleration and deceleration.

Second question is that the rev and clutch characteristics of this car seem to be very much like an aluminum flywheel. Requires lots of gas and clutch to get in gear.

Would these two problems be related to each other? Would they be solved by replacing hydraulics?

Car is apart right now. Torque tube seems fine, clutch seems fine, I'm not touching the diff or trans but they don't seem damaged.

What I'm doing now:

Installing tilton master cylinder, new slave cylinder, and remote bleeder.
I'll be changing both diff and transmission fluid as well.

I have a pilot bearing but I'm not sure whether it's worth the time and effort to remove the flywheel to change.

Sounds like an ignition misfire. When you get it back together, drive it up a mild incline in a higher gear and ease on the throttle to see if you can duplicate the problem. If so, get a scanner on so you can have someone ride with you and watch the misfire monitor. If it's dropping a cylinder, you'll see it.

I'll try that, but it's clearly coming from the driveline. The engine doesn't make any abnormal noise. There's some sort of clanking going on I can feel in the shifter.
