I'm looking for a reliable builder in SE Wisconsin that can rebuild and dyno tune my built LS2 in my 02 C5.
I'd like full service shops that will include removal and installation and warranty their work.
The motor is not stock, with forged internals, big cam, roller rockers, etc. so I'd like to find a place with experience with performance motors.
It will most likely need a re-bore and a new set of pistons as part of the rebuild. It currently burns about a quart of oil every 500 miles and has bad piston slap, possibly rod knock.
Does anyone know of good shops in the area?
How much should I be expecting to pay?
There is not alot of material in ls engines to do a rebore.
These guys have a good rep. I have not used them personally.
