I just put a 3.42 rear in my 97 auto, I can't seem to find anyone who can recalibrate my speedo. I have the hypertech, but it only reprograms for the stock sizes of 2.73 and 3.15(false advertising, think I might return it). Is it possible to recalibrate? If so what does it involve or who should I call? Also, I want to lower the car about an inch, maybe a little less, again nobody in Las Vegas seems to know how. How complicated is this procedure?
Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
You don't need to recalibrate the speedo for gear changes in a C5, only tire size changes. However the shift point in an automatic may need adjusting. Either way you can have it calibrated with LS1 Edit. You may want to consider having a tuner do this for you and checking out the C5 Scan and Tune sections here.

I beg to differ that a gear change doesn't require the speedo to be re-calibrated.
Find someone w/ LS-1 Edit or a similar program to calibrate your speedo.
