Have seen parted cars 2001-2004 go for 4500-5400 locally, if the engine is low miles and drive train still intact. If it broke the wheel really inspect the mounts for the arms and the steering components.

So from a parting out perspective I would say its ok, but from a repairing perspective , well, you would have to be the judge on that. Hey at least it wasnt hit on the passengers side with all the ecm and electronics

Also what is the condition of the interior? I have seen used sport seats go for 900-1220 for a pair just by themselves!

GM part # Left 12480072 is the control arm part and it comes with bushing.

Get a picture of the car if you can and post the damage. If the wheel is off the better you can see whats going on if anything.

You really should get the car on a frame rack and check it to know it is repairable. Then, you can assess the damaged parts and the cost to replace them.
