1999 Base Coupe and I've got the chirping canary under the hood. Although I have yet to look underneath I'm sure it's the h.b. Car is and will remain in stock form.
Bought a Powerbond OEM replacement balancer and having my dealership replace it this Wednesday ($330 flat).
I know the stock bolt is NOT to be reused; ARP is suggested but I think I'd have to order it and well let's just say deliveries don't make it here as often. Will a new stock bolt suffice?
Keeping both labor and parts down to a bare minimum, what else should I replace? Are gator belts recommended over those at Napa? OEM?
Stock bolt is OK as long as it's new. Only downfall is if it has to be removed for any reason it can not be reused. Gatorback belts is they way to go......and while you're at it you might as well replace both Idler Pulleys and Tensioners. On and another thing....While it's apart the Balancer seal on the timing cover can be changed too.

Check with Jegs or Summit. See if either can get an ARP bolt to you by Wednesday. Even if you have to postpone or reschedule your service appointment, it's worth it.
