weekend projects
Working through all the suggestions I have seen on this site. I installed the lmc5 this weekend, not to bad at all. the hardest part was contorting my body and unplugging the relay under the dash. Completed no problems encountered. I also did the ranger method on the clutch fluid and man was it black. I only had to do 3 changes and the fluid looked clear. Is 3 about the right number of changes? I have an 02 torch red with 37,000 miles.

You will probably have to do it more as you drive the car and circulate the fluid. You replaced the fluid in the resauvoir and once the rest of the dirty fluid still in the system circulates it will be cloudy again.

I checked it again this morning and it was a little dark again. So I changed it out 3 more times, pumping the clutch pedal 30-35 times in between each change. I will keep an eye on it.
