I have a 1999 automatic and the reset button on the DIC seems to be a little touchy. Sometimes taking 2 or 3 times to work. Can anyone tell whats involved in replacing it? As always......thanks for any help.

I have the same thing from time to time and I noticed that if instead of just pushing the button in the center, I push the button more on the left side, it registers every time. These buttons don't seem to be a "straight-in and straight-out" but rather, they seem to pivot from one side a bit.
To change it, you'll need to pull the DIC assembly out of the dash in order to access the mounting screws on the rear.

Thanks for the info LoneStar. I'll try that. I assume you are in Texas. Where? I'm in San Angelo.
