A friend just had AR 1 3/4 long tubes with mid-pipe and hi flo cats and a tune on his Z06, he also has a SSI manifold on the car (M6). The final pull showed 372 rwhp and 400 lb/ft.
Those numbers sound low to me and I am looking for opinions.
Thx.

Reason: addition
On a dynojet. His HP seems a bit low and tq a bit high as mine seemed to be typical. If it runs good at the track and seat of the pants feels good...i wouldnt sweat it. Hes in the ballpark...all dynos read different.

SAE correction? Any chance you have the tq and hp flipped? 400 rwtq on a N/A 5.7 with stock internals sounds way too high.
Agree with the others, the HP should be higher than TQ with those mods. I have 1 7/8" AR headers with catted X pipe, a Halltech, and a tune, and mine put down 386/372 SAE. Now, I'm in the process of getting blown, so should get interesting!
What kind of dyno? As was stated above, all dynos read differently. Mustang dynos typically read the lowest, and Dyno Dynamics also read on the low side. Even dynos of the same type read differently. 372 is a "tad" on the low side, but not way off base.

They don't read low. The numbers are not inflated because Mustang dynos are LOADED dynos.

I didn't think I had to explain myself on this one... I never attempted to explain why they read lower, or which type is the "most accurate" - it really doesn't matter. They are all just tuning tools. Having said that, yes, they do typically read lower than dynojets, as I stated.
